International Research Collaborations

QMU is proud of its sustainable, responsive and inclusive research that is connected internationally and rooted locally.

Many of our staff have internationally excellent research profiles and we remain alert to opportunities to attract world leading researchers who complement our identified strengths.

We encourage and support our researchers in developing high-quality international research networks and as a university we foster strategic, global, institutional partnerships.   We connect with leading universities and organisations both nationally and internationally to tackle key global challenges.

We have a strong and established portfolio of international funding from various sources including the EU, Department for International Development (DFID), and the Global Challenges Research Fund (GCRF), and other overseas funding bodies and Governments.

The sections below highlight the locations of some our substantive global collaborations and partnerships.
