All fees quotes are per year unless otherwise stated. Full time and part-time Scottish students are eligible to apply for the SAAS tuition fee loan - visit the SAAS website for more information.
International students are responsible for ensuring that they have the funds to pay their tuition fees as well as their living costs support. They may be able to access funding or loans from their own government. * With the exception of research students who have a studentship, all research students requiring laboratory, practical or clinical expenses will pay a minimum bench fee of £1,050, which covers the cost of consumable materials and other expenses associated with the student's research at QMU. Students undertaking a proposal involving expenses which exceed £1,050 will be required to cover these costs if they do not have sponsorship.
** All research students exceeding their normal prescribed period of study without submitting their thesis are registered as continuing students, and pay the appropriate annual continuation fee.
#Students who complete their studies within the 2026/67 academic year and have not paid either the full or part time fee during this year, will also be charged the exam fee.

SAAS POSTGRADUATE TUITION FEE LOANS
A tuition fee loan of up to £7,000 is available for full-time courses, to help pay for all or some of your tuition fees.
For further information and in order to check your eligibility for the tuition fee loan you should check the information on the postgraduate section of the SAAS website.
Applications can also be made via the SAAS website.
Please note that if you are a part time student, you must take no longer than twice the length of the full time programme to complete your studies.
