Catriona Liddle (BA (Hons), NVQ 3) is a Lecturer in the Dietetics, Nutrition and Biological Sciences Division. She is also the Head of Scottish Centre for Food Development and Innovation.

Located within the Scottish Centre for Food Development & Innovation since 2015, providing expertise for Food & Drink projects including:
- New product development (NPD),
- Existing product development (EPD),
- Consumer and sensory analysis
- Nutritional analysis
- Food & Drink research
Previous extensive global food industry wide product development experience working with a variety of companies in a number of different food sectors (including Campbell Soup UK, US and Europe, Dairy Crest, Glanbia Performance Nutrition and Diet Chef). A qualified chef, QMU graduate, and having held both creative “hands on” and senior NPD roles, her expertise encompasses implementing and managing projects from concept stage through to product launch.
