QMU awarded two Global Student Living Awards

By press office

On-campus student accommodation at QMU took home the top prizes for Customer Service and Booking Experience at the prestigious Global Student Living Awards UK & Ireland, held in London on 20 October.

The University’s halls of residence were also shortlisted as a finalist in four other categories – Student Community, Moving-In Experience, Environmental Management, and the highest award for Best University Housing.

Unlike many other Awards, the Global Student Living Awards do not take written nominations or rely on 'expert' judges to make their selections. Instead, all awards are 100% based on direct feedback from tens of thousands of home and international students across the UK and Ireland.

The 2022 awards mark the third year in a row that QMU has scooped the top prize for 'Booking Experience', a category that encompasses both the application processes and pre-arrival information, while the award for Customer Service is a testament to the exceptional work that Accommodation Services and the ResLife team put in all year round to support students living on campus.

Paul Sibanda, Head of Accommodation at QMU, said: "We are honoured to have achieved these awards as a direct result of our students' feedback. I am incredibly proud of the team, and I am sure the whole University community will join me in congratulating them.”
