QMU signs articulation agreement with Humber College, Toronto

By Press Office

Queen Margaret University (QMU) has forged a new relationship with a Canadian institution to offer an exciting postgraduate opportunity to students who are passionate about cultural organisations and festivals.

The University has signed an articulation agreement with Humber College Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning, which will enable students from the Toronto-based institution to apply for QMU’s highly sought after MA Arts, Festival and Cultural Management programme with advanced standing.

The agreement allows students who already hold an undergraduate degree to apply for advanced entry onto the master’s course at QMU on successful completion of Humber’s Events Management Ontario Graduate Certificate or the Arts Administration and Cultural Management Ontario Graduate Certificate.

This new agreement will further strengthen QMU’s ties with Canadian universities and colleges, creating a wealth of new opportunities for students to take advantage of our expertise in cultural management while studying in Edinburgh, the home of the world’s largest arts festival.

David Stevenson, Head of Media, Communication and Performing Arts at QMU, said: I am delighted to formally recognise our relationship with Humber College. I visited their campus earlier this year and was impressed by the passion and enthusiasm of both the students and faculty. I look forward to welcoming their graduates into the division.”
