August - Fringe Village at QMU

Queen Margaret University is delighted to partner with Edinburgh Festival Fringe, providing affordable accommodation to artists throughout the Festival period.

With a variety of accommodation offerings, rehearsal spaces, gym facilities, catering outlets and vast amounts of stunning green space, QMU is the all-round package needed to be an ideal base for your Festival stay.

We are excited to announce that accommodation for the August 2025 Fringe is now open for booking.

Due to the limited number of rooms, our accommodation is only available to book via one of the two options below. Please find the details below to help you decide which option best fits your requirements.

Option 1 – Single Ensuite Rooms in Shared Self-Catering Apartments

We are offering single ensuite rooms in our shared self-catering apartments, available for a 4-week stay from 31 July 2025 to 28 August 2025.

Price: £294 per week, totalling £1176 for the entire stay.
Accommodation Details: Our single ensuite rooms are located within a 6 bedroom apartment, each equipped with a single bed and a private ensuite shower pod. You will also have access to a shared kitchen/diner with all essential appliances.

Option 2 – Group Bookings for standard 6 Bedroom Apartments.

Our standard 6 bedroom flats are available for group bookings only, with a minimum stay of one week. These apartments are available only from 31 July to 28 August 2025.

Price:

6-Bedroom Apartment: £2,034 per week

Standard Accommodation Details: Each 6 bed standard apartment includes single beds and an ensuite shower room. Each apartment has a private kitchen/living area with all essential appliances.

Additional Information:

Bed linen is provided.
Towels are not provided but can be hired from reception at £6 per set (1 hand towel & 1 bath towel).
A cleaning service is not included
