Sophie Carbry – Business Management – Level 1

Deventer, Netherlands

Overall I really enjoyed the short term exchange to Saxion University of Applied Sciences. I felt the trip was interesting and has given me an insight into what going on an exchange would be like and I am now seriously considering going on exchange in third year.

I feel I have learn a lot about the area that we have stayed in a seen the cultural difference between the UK and the Netherlands. Deventer is a beautiful town and I wish we had a little more time in the town to explore it. Everyone in Holland were very nice and helpful when we needed it. My overall impression of Holland as a place is the people are very kind, they have beautiful towns and cities and have a huge interests in environmental protection shown by the large amount of bikes and electric cars seen there.

I would like to go back possibly in my own time to explore the place more and learn more about Holland.
