Eleanor Curnow (PhD, MSc, BSc Hons) is a Research Fellow with the National Autism Implementation Team Research Programme in the Speech and Language Sciences Division and a full member of Centre of Applied Social Sciences (CASS) Research Centre.

Eleanor Curnow is an Occupational Therapist and Researcher with over 20 years of experience in clinical practice working with people with dementia or mental health issues, their families and teams, providing support. Latterly, she worked as a Research and Development Officer for Mental Health Occupational Therapy in NHS Fife. Her current research and work with the National Autism Implementation Team (NAIT) is focussed on understanding and implementing changes in health, education, and employment to support neurodivergent people to participate and have positive experiences in a range of settings.

Dr Curnow has used qualitative and quantitative methods to support the development of new knowledge and evidence-based change in clinical practice. As a researcher, she has engaged in productive partnerships with a range of medical and non-medical health researchers.
Active Research Interests:
Current research is focused on the development and translation of evidence for multidisciplinary practice, which has an impact on neurodivergent adults, and additional support needs within home, education and work settings.
