I completed my MSc Physiotherapy (pre-registration) in 2019, from Sheffield Hallam University, following previously completing BSc (Hons) Physiology and Sports Science (2014, Sheffield Hallam University) and MSc Sport and Exercise Science (2013, University of Glasgow).
Following my Physiotherapy degree, I worked in a rotational post – gaining a broad range of experiences within MSK, stroke, community, paediatrics, pelvic health and on-call respiratory. Subsequently, I worked in NHS Lothian in community physiotherapy – primarily in hospital admission prevention, but also longer-term rehab.
In October 2025 I made the change to an academic role, lecturing in Physiotherapy at Queen Margaret University. I am also co-editor of the Research Reviews section of the Journal of Pelvic Obstetric and Gynaecological Physiotherapy (JPOGP).
