Professor Emerita Brigid Daniel has published widely on child development, children’s resilience, child neglect and the child protection system.
She is chair of the Independent Steering Group for Children’s Services Research appointed by the Scottish Government in 2022. The research, being undertaken by CELCIS at Strathclyde University, will help to inform the decision about the future of children’s services in the light of the introduction of the new National Care Service.
