QMU scores triple finalist spot in Global Student Living Awards 2025
Queen Margaret University’s modern and affordable on-campus student accommodation has been shortlisted for three 2025 Global Student Living (GSL) Awards.
The university’s impressive student residence services have been recognised for their ongoing commitment to providing outstanding student experiences, inclusive environments, and high-quality accommodation, achieving three finalist spots for:
- Best Student Community
- Best University Housing
- Inclusivity Impact Award
QMU has a history of performing well at the Awards due to the exceptional work of its Accommodation Services and ResLife teams, having received numerous finalist nominations across the years and scooping up the top prize for Best Booking Experience three years in a row.
Paul Sibanda, Head of Accommodation and Campus Operations at QMU, said: “These nominations are especially meaningful to us because they’re based entirely on feedback from students. They provide a valuable insight into how our students experience life on campus and serve as a respected benchmark across the sector. At QMU, creating a supportive, inclusive and welcoming community is at the heart of what we do. The winners of the Global Student Living Awards 2025 will be announced at a ceremony in London on 16 October 2025.
