QMU awards top performing business students with overseas partners
To recognise the academic excellence of those studying business courses with Queen Margaret University’s (QMU) international partner institutions, the University has presented 15 students with prizes for the 2019/20 academic year.
The certificate recognises the highest academic achievement and is awarded to one student per programme who is graduating with a QMU business qualification from one of our overseas partners.
In order to be eligible for the award, students were required to graduate with the highest exit mark for degree classification, as presented at the Board of Examiners.
Chrysoula Vogiatzi, recipient of the QMU Prize for BA (Hons) Economics for Business at Metropolitan College, Greece, said: “I feel so honoured to be the Winner of QMU Prize for academic achievement. Through the last four years, I have obtained many academic skills and abilities via BSc (Hons) Economics for Business, which have already proved necessary for my upcoming career. Thank you, QMU - it was a beautiful journey!”
Dr Theresa Cronin, Transnational Partnership Manager and International Lead at QMU, said: “The Transnational Educational Partnerships team within Queen Margaret Business School are proud to recognise the academic excellence of our students. In 2019-20 we presented 15 outstanding graduates in Greece, India, Nepal and Singapore with the QMU Prize.
