Applying Online
Queen Margaret University has an online recruitment system and all applicants should submit an online application form. To view our current vacancies please click on the link below.

Once you have selected the vacancy you wish to apply for click ‘Apply’, you can then set up an account or login (if you already have an account set up).

Applicants with a Disability
Queen Margaret University offers an interview to applicants with a disability so long as they satisfy the essential criteria for the post as set out within the person specification. You must declare your disability on the online application form and provide details of any adjustments you would require for interview. We understand that it will not be possible for some applicants with a disability to complete the the online application form, if this is the case for you the application for is available in alternative formats, please contact the HR team on the contact details outlined above.
Eligibility to Work in the UK
In order for the university to confirm that job applicants are eligible to work in the UK if you are invited to interview you will be asked to provide eligibility of your right to work in the UK, usually this is in the form of a passport however there other options which the HR team will advise you of when if are invited to interview. Please note that original copies of your ID must be seen, photocopies will not be accepted.
Applicants from outwith the European Economic Area (EEA)
Queen Margaret University accepts and considers applications from those outwith the EEA. We are able to offer sponsorship for skilled workers under the Tier 2 points based system.
For Queen Margaret University to issue you with a Tier 2 Certificate of Sponsorship a number of conditions must be met including criteria for the advertisement of the vacancy, skill and salary level of the position. With this in mind not every position the university recruits for will be eligible for sponsorship under Tier 2, normally job adverts will indicate whether Tier 2 sponsorship is a possibility. Next Steps
Once you have submitted your application form and following the application closing date your application will be sent to the shortlisting panel for consideration. Once shortlisting has taken place you will receive an email from us either inviting you to book an interview slot on a specific date or declining your application. We regret that due to the high volume of applications we receive it is not possible for us to provide feedback on your application if you are unsuccessful in being invited to interview.
