Welcome

Conference Chairs
emtc2022 is fast approaching! With over 700 registrations to date, the conference is promising to offer a lively space for learning, unlearning and relearning together. We encourage you to familiarise yourself with the conference programme in advance and, if you wish, there is still time to book your place to the pre-conference events many of which offer an online participation option. We can’t wait to welcome you all online and in-person to Queen Margaret University Edinburgh!
Conference Programme
An updated conference programme is now live on the EMTC website. The programme will be the same for both in-person and online delegates so you can now start to plan your conference. Presenters, please double check your presentation time & details.

Pre-Conference Events
On 6th and 7th June, there are a number of pre-conference events being offered either faceto-face and/or online. For details about the events, please follow this link. These events are managed independently, and all enquiries should be addressed to the relevant event organiser.
Presenter Guidelines
If you are presenting at the conference (in any capacity) then you will have recently been sent a document detailing guidelines for presenters. These will have been sent to the email address of the lead presenter. These guidelines detail essential information about presenting at the conference, such as how to upload your presentations and deadlines. If were expecting to receive this and have not, then please contact us asap.
The guidelines are also available on the EMTC Website.
Sponsorship & Exhibitor Packages
We still have a few spaces left for sponsors & exhibitors at the conference. With over 700 delegates registered this is a fantastic opportunity to promote your events, products or company. If you are interested then please email EMTCsponsorship@BAMT.org for more information.
Edinburgh - Scotland's Breathtaking Capital
Once the conference programme is finished for the day then there are plenty of exciting things to explore in Edinburgh. With stunning architecture, endless winding streets and an awe-inspiring castle perched on a dormant volcano, there's nowhere else quite like it. You're never far from cultural attractions in Edinburgh. By day you can scale a monument dedicated to a wordsmith, admire artworks in galleries and treasured wonders in museums, or even discover the grounds of Holyrood Palace. By night you can enjoy tours, musical and theatre performances, or find your favourite dram in a charming whisky pub.
Over the next few weeks we will be highlighting other events happening whilst the conference is occurring but why not head to the Visit Scotland webpage to find our more about this amazing city.
If you have any questions then please visit the FAQ section on the website or get in touch via email (emtc2022@bamt.org). Don't forget to use #emtc2022 on your social media posts in the run up to the conference!
