Volunteering and Recruitment Fairs
Our Annual Recruitment and Volunteering Career Fairs are designed to help your organisation fill part time vacancies, volunteering, work experience and graduate opportunities.
The career events are open to all students across our varied subject areas. The average student overall attendance at the Fairs is between 500-1000.
Students find that this is an excellent opportunity to step into their career, find graduate level work, part time, seasonal or voluntary opportunities. Some employers also use this event to raise the profile of their organisation to attract potential graduates and/or offer them work opportunities whilst studying.
To learn more about employer events or other opportunities to engage with our students, please email Juan Garcia (Employability and Development Adviser) via careers@qmu.ac.uk
We were excited to mark 25 years of connecting students and employers in 2025, and we hope you’ll join us in continuing our success.

This event is tailored to employers offering part-time/casual work and those offering paid internships or graduate schemes. Our students are based in Edinburgh, the Lothians, and Borders, and some travel from as far as Fife and Glasgow. Please note, stall space is limited by sector to ensure a diverse range of opportunities.
Bookings open in May and close in August every year.
