Dr Taiwo Frances Gbadegesin is a Lecturer in Initial Teacher Education within the Psychology, Sociology and Education division.
She holds a bachelor's degree in economic education, and earned her master's and doctorate degrees from Obafemi Awolowo University in Ile Ife, Nigeria, and the University of Leeds in the United Kingdom, respectively.
Her PhD research examines early childhood education stakeholders’ shared meaning-making of quality education in Nigeria. She held a postdoctoral research fellowship at the University of the Free State in South Africa, where she conducted interdisciplinary research on childhood, housing, and the environment.
