Tour of the New Clermiston Campus

This cine footage, found in the QMU archive, shows visiting dignitaries on a tour of the new facilities at our then newly opened Clermiston campus, which included a purpose-built halls of residence and swimming pool.

The move to this new campus reflected the growth of our institution, soon to be renamed as Queen Margaret College, as it evolved from a school focused mainly on domestic science and broadened its portfolio to include, for example, courses in drama, speech and language therapy, and the allied health professions.
