Archive Footage of a QMU Dorm Room
Found on cine reel in the QMU archive, here we see student dorm rooms, possibly at Atholl Crescent.
Dorm rooms there were often at the top of the building, in re-purposed servants’ quarters. Conditions were very cramped, in part to the halving of rooms to maximise the number of residents (note the half window which indicates that the room has been halved).
