Outdoor Learning Hub Created in 2024
In 2024, the University created an Outdoor Learning Hub and Discovery Trail on campus to connect people in nature.
The Hub is an important facility to help student teachers develop the skills of outdoor learning so they can encourage primary children to develop a love and understanding of the natural world and its important to our health and wellbeing.
Not only that, the Hub is for everyone to enjoy, including our students, staff, visitors, the communities we serve, and educators across Scotland. The Discovery Trail provides an accessible route through our woods, terraces, meadow, pond, hedgerows, and Wee Forest.
