2019 Re-introduction of Teaching Degrees
In 2019, we returned to our roots with re-introduction of teaching degrees, beginning with an undergraduate Primary Teaching course and a postgraduate PGDE Home Economics. We now offer PGDEs in additional subjects and a wider range of education courses.
Drawing on QMU's particular expertise, our education courses stand out in their focus on wellbeing, resilience, child welfare and addressing inequalities.
Our first cohort of primary teachers graduated in 2023.
