Member of University Court
Caroline is an experienced local government senior leader with a background in transformational change, operational management strategic leadership. She has led a wide range of services including community arts, libraries and museums and has held responsibility for corporate risk, health & safety and community learning and development. Her current area of focus is early intervention and prevention for children, young people and families, taking a whole family approach to tackling poverty and improving resilience, wellbeing and outcomes for families and communities. Caroline is also a Director of the Edinburgh Voluntary Organisations Council.
Caroline is a lay member of the Court, appointed on 1 February 2026.
