At QMU we have a long tradition of welcoming students from all over the world. Around 25% of Queen Margaret University students are international coming from over 80 countries throughout the world.

For undergraduate courses:
We welcome applications from students holding a minimum grade of 3.0 in the Gümnaasiumi lõputunnistus. Some courses will require specific subjects and/or achieved higher grades within your Diploma. Please refer to the individual course page on our website for further details.
Admission to our undergraduate programmes can be made by those holding a relevant diploma or other recognised qualification such as GCE A Levels, International Baccalaureate, American High School Diploma with SAT’s or AP’s or other recognised qualification.
For postgraduate courses:
We will consider applications from students holding a good Bachelors degree from a recognised university.
Please note that the above is given for guidance only and that entry requirements will vary between courses. We may also be looking for a strong Statement of Purpose/Personal Statement, some work experience or specific subjects to have been studied at an advanced level. English Language Requirements
You should hold a recent English language qualification in order to be considered for study at Queen Margaret University.
For those applicants looking for additional English practice and study skills training prior to commencing their main course of study, the Effective Learning Service runs a four-week Pre-Sessional English programme.
This programmes can also be taken by students who fall just short of meeting the English language requirements, as a means of reaching the desired level of English before the start of their main programme.
