Queen Margaret University to host online Community Forum on 2 November

By Press Office

Queen Margaret University (QMU), Edinburgh, will host its next Community Forum online on Tuesday 2 November at 6.30 pm.

Forum meetings, which usually take place twice a year, allow community representatives and individuals to interact directly with University staff and discuss subjects of common interest.

Alexander Williams, Lecturer in Paramedic Science at QMU, will present on the University's new BSc degree in the field, which received its first intake of students last year. Delivered in conjunction with the Scottish Ambulance Service, this new three-year ordinary BSc Paramedic Science course reflects the requirement that all paramedics entering the profession from 2021 must have a degree.

This forum will mark the second time the meeting has been held online, following a successful trial in April 2021. Attendees will be able to follow and participate in the discussion from home on Microsoft Teams.

In addition to the Paramedic Science presentation, attendees can also expect updates from the University across various other areas of interest. There will also be an opportunity for discussion and questions.

Anyone interested in attending the forum should email marketing@qmu.ac.uk.
