By Press Office

Two Queen Margaret University (QMU) students will have front row seats to a special event at the new Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London this weekend.

First year podiatrist, Emma Simmons, and second year film and media student, Patrick Stewart, will travel to the home of ‘Spurs’ on 1 June for a leadership masterclass, stadium tour, question and answer sessions with former Chelsea footballers Dennis Wise and Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink, and Bristol City Women’s manager Tanya Oxtoby, and screening of the final with match analysis.

The pair will also enjoy ample networking opportunities, as well as the chance to soak up the atmosphere of the UEFA Champions League Final taking place in Madrid between Liverpool FC and Tottenham Hotspur FC.

The Leadership Masterclass will focus on personal drive, focus, confidence, energy management, learning mind-set, and performing under pressure, all of which will be useful to the attending students for their personal and professional development.

The weekend has been made possible by Santander Universities, in celebration of their support for higher education and sponsorship of the Champions League.
