QMU ranked top modern university in Scotland in Complete University Guide

Queen Margaret University (QMU) has climbed seven places in the Complete University Guide 2020 League Tables, retaining the position of highest ranked modern university in Scotland.

In 68th place in this year’s main University League Table, the University has been established as the highest ranked modern* university in Scotland for the second year running.

In subject rankings, QMU scored in the UK top ten for 'Aural and Oral Sciences', and 'Drama, Dance and Cinematics'.

Professor Petra Wend, Principal of QMU, said: “We are delighted to feature as the top modern university in Scotland in this guide, and to have moved up seven places year-on-year. This success reflects our work to provide an excellent student experience in a supportive environment and the quality of our academic research. We look forward to continuing this work.”

The University is also delighted to note that it has moved up 13 places in the WhatUni? rankings, which are based purely on student reviews, again highlighting QMU’s dedication and commitment to its students.
