This event will give you the opportunity to meet fellow alumni and your new Chancellor Designate, Prue Leith CBE. You will also be able to hear the latest news and activity from the University from Principal and Vice Chancellor, Professor Petra Wend.
QMU is a university of ideas and influence and there is no greater advocate of this university than our alumni. As part of our new approach to alumni engagement, we want to ensure that we continue to support and engage with you long after graduation – whether you are a graduate of Atholl Crescent, Clermiston or Musselburgh. This includes offering a range of benefits and services, including career advice for life, postgraduate discounts or the opportunity to apply for paid internships through Santander Universities.
This will be one of Prue Leith's first university engagements since being elected as QMU's Chancellor Designate (‘designate’ because she is yet to be officially installed at an inauguration ceremony). With a background that resonates deeply with the values and interests of QMU, and a positive, outward looking personality, Prue will be an excellent role model for our students, staff and alumni.
