QMU graduate, Kimberley Tod, wins top radiography prize

A QMU graduate from New Byth in Aberdeenshire has been awarded a top radiography prize at Queen Margaret University’s (QMU) recent graduation ceremony in Edinburgh.

Kimberley Jane Tod (21), who attended Turriff Academy in Aberdeenshire, has won the Society of Radiographers Professional Award for Academic Achievement after graduating with a BSc (Hons) Diagnostic Radiography from QMU. The Society of Radiographers represents the professional, educational and workplace interests of radiographers in the UK and overseas.

Kimberley has already secured a full time graduate job as a radiographer at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh.

Commenting on her radiography award and experience as a student at QMU, Kimberley said: “Being awarded this prize is an honour. Radiography is something I’m really passionate about and I can’t thank my lecturers enough for all their support. I would recommend studying at Queen Margaret University for anyone wishing to pursue a career in radiography or any allied health profession.”
