Would you like free, confidential, one-to-one help with you academic writing?

The one-to-one service is available to QMU students and staff.

Royal Literary Fund Fellowship

The Royal Literary Fund (RLF) runs the Fellowship scheme for writers in partnership with universities across the UK, including QMU. Writers work one-to-one with students, using their expertise in language and communication to help them develop their essay writing.

The RLF Fellowship scheme was conceived with the intention of placing professional writers in higher education institutions to offer writing support to all students. The principal aim of the Fellow’s work is to foster good writing practice across disciplines and media.

RLF Writing Fellows are professional writers who offer individual appointments where students can discuss all aspects of their writing, such as structuring an argument, making the essay clearer and improving style. The sessions are free, confidential and independent of the university.
