QMU graduate wins top psychology award

A graduate from Durham has won a top academic award from the British Psychological Society after achieving the highest overall score for her Psychology degree from Queen Margaret University (QMU), Edinburgh.

Olivia Wood, 21, who attended Spennymoor Comprehensive in Durham, graduated with a BSc (Hons) Psychology from QMU this summer after being presented with the British Psychological Society Undergraduate Award 2015.

The British Psychological Society is the representative body for psychology and psychologists in the UK. The organisation is responsible for the development, promotion and application of psychology for the public good.

Olivia has already kick-started her career by using her Psychology degree to secure a job at St Pancras Hospital in London.
