Dr Helen Coker is a Lecturer in QMU's Division of Psychology, Sociology and Education. While she has a wide range of experience in educational contexts - having taught at all levels from early years to Masters level programmes - her expertise and interest focuses on the potential of technology to enable collaborative learning.

Helen started her career as a primary teacher - teaching in England, Australia and Scotland - before settling in Scotland to raise a family. Before joining Queen Margaret University Helen was programme leader of the Master of Education Critical Enquiry, at the University of the Highlands and Islands.
