Programmes for Developing Person-centred Cultures
These modules are for post-registration health and social care professionals and will give you the opportunity to acquire the knowledge and skills to be a person-centred facilitator, with an ultimate aim of embedding person-centredness within teams and workplaces. The courses are facilitated by international experts in person-centred practice. Academic accreditation is optional.
Programme 1 - Being a Person Centred Practitioner: This five day school module aims to help participants to critically and creatively learn more about person-centred practice and how they can enhance ‘knowing’ and ‘doing’ as a person-centred practitioner within the context of health and social care. Develop leadership and facilitation skills for person-centred cultures and evidence-informed practice in health and social care contexts.
The school is also part of the QMU MSc Person-centred Practice Framework and means you can opt to undertake 20 credits at SCQF Level 9 although this is not a requirement of participation.
Programme 2 - Advancing Facilitation of Person centred cultures: This five day school aims to create conditions where participants are able to critically and creatively explore advancing their ways of knowing, being, doing and becoming as an authentic person-centred facilitator. The school will ensure learners are advancing their person-centred facilitation knowledge and skills while working with a variety of service improvement and practice based projects and initiatives. The school is also part of the QMU MSc Person-centred Practice Framework and means you can opt to undertake 20 credits at SCQF Level11 although this is not a requirement of participation.
