Queen Margaret University offers matriculated students the opportunity to join the STARS programme.

The STARS programme has been designed to provide employment, training and leadership opportunities for QMU students.

This new initiative to appoint Edinburgh’s brightest students as international tourism ambassadors was launched at Edinburgh Airport on Monday 1st June 2015. The project has expanded to Waverly Station (Virgin Trains) and Edinburgh St James in 2016. The STARS will work at other locations in summer 2017 including The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo as well other tourist and events attractions.
