Miriam Crowe, BSc (Hons) is a Research Administrator for the Firefly Research Unit in the Occupational Therapy & Arts Therapies Division. She is also an Affiliate member of the Centre for Applied Social Sciences.

Miriam Crowe is an occupational therapist and researcher focused on developing a body of knowledge focused on supporting participation of children with disabilities. Miriam has led testing and development of a new participation assessment. Miriam’s recent research activity has developed an extensive network of clinicians and therapists exchanging knowledge to advance research and practice in the area of children’s participation. Miriam has submitted her PhD.

Miriam’s research focus relates to understanding of childhood disability, children’s participation and occupational therapy for children. Miriam’s research has involved nation-wide distribution and analysis of an assessment of children’s participation. This research captured information on children’s everyday lives as reported by parents and teachers nationally.
