Scott Anderson (Certificate Stage Management RSAMD) is a Lecturer in the Division of Media, Communication and Performing Arts.

A graduate of the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama. (Now RCS)

Scott has been involved in Scottish Theatre for 36 years and has worked with most of the Major Scottish Companies including The Citizens, Royal Lyceum, Traverse and Brunton Theatre Companies. He is a Designer, Pyrotechnist, Filmmaker and a former Production Manager of Glasgow Mayfest.

He has worked on numerous Edinburgh International Festivals and also many Fringe Productions and is familiar with working with visiting companies and artists.

He has exstensive experience of outdoor and processional theatre and was a co director of Spontaneous Combustions who pioneered the resurgence of outdoor celebratory theatre in the late eighties and nineties.

He is currently a lecturer in drama within the School of Arts Social Sciences and Management at Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh, and is founder and moderator of SCOT-NITS the Scottish Theatre Industry forum on the Internet and its sister forum SCOTTISHFILMNET.

Scott is a former board member of The Scottish Youth Theatre.
