Mairi Redman is a Research Unit Officer for the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) at the Institute of Global Health and Development (IGHD).

Mairi joined the IGHD as an administrator in the NIHR Research Unit on Health in Fragility (RUHF) in July 2019.  RUHF focuses on the provision of mental health and psychological support and the treatment and prevention of non-communicable diseases, within both Lebanon and Sierra Leone.

The overarching goal of the project is helping to secure high quality and accessible service delivery in contexts of fragility, and to design services and community engagement that prove durable and effective under these circumstances.
