Mr Michael Clapham (BSc. MSc. RD. RNutr.) is a Senior Lecturer Public Health Nutrition in the Dietetics, Nutrition & Biological Sciences, Physiotherapy, Podiatry & Radiography Division.

Michael Clapham is a Senior lecturer in Public Health Nutrition and course leader of the MSc Public Health Nutrition and BSc (Hons) Nutrition and Food Science courses.

Michael is both a Registered Dietitian and a Registered Public Health Nutritionist. He has over thirty years of experience in the field of nutrition, having worked within the National Health Service, Food Industry and Higher Education.

His current research interest is in the area of public health nutrition, but especially focussed on children. He is particularly interested in the measurement of nutrient intakes in children and determining the factors that can affect that intake.

  • Registered Dietitian with Health & Care Professions Council

 

Current research interest is in the area of public health nutrition, but especially focussed on children and their nutrient intakes.
