Thousands of ‘Ride the Night Edinburgh’ challengers will unite to cycle 100km through Edinburgh at night to support three women's cancer charities, Breast Cancer Care, Ovarian Cancer Action and Jo’s Cervical Cancer Trust. The event starts in the grounds of Queen Margaret University (QMU), Edinburgh with motivational speeches and music. Following a warm up, thousands of women will ride a circular route, passing many of Edinburgh’s historic landmarks along the way. These include the Royal Yacht Britania, Arthur’s Seat and Edinburgh Castle to name but a few. Participants will cross the finish line back at QMU.

The University is pleased to have a team of cyclists, the ‘QMU Cyclones’, taking part in the event. Other QMU staff and students are welcome to set up additional teams to take part in the Ride The Night challenge. Staff and students may also like to consider setting up teams with family and friends.
