What has been the highlight of your time at QMU so far?
I am lucky to say I have many highlights to choose from. I live in halls and through this I was able to meet my five roommates who have become close friends of mines. One of my favourite highlights will have to be our movie nights where we all spend the night laughing and stuffing our faces with popcorn and snacks.
What is the one thing you wish you knew before coming to university at QMU?
One thing I wish I knew before coming to university at QMU is that there is no need to be nervous as QMU is such a close-knit community, this is very familiar to me as I come from a small close-knit town. QMU also provides a lot of support through the LRC and Student’s Union.
What is your favourite thing about being an ambassador for QMU?
I love helping prospective students by answering any questions they have about the Nursing course or just what student life at QMU is like. Being a student ambassador allows me to work on my communication skills which will be helpful for me in my future career in nursing.
