What has been the highlight of your time at QMU so far?

It is difficult to pick out one highlight out of the many great experiences whether it is the course, work or living here. QMU has so much to offer in terms of events and opportunities for students to get the most out of their university experience. By living in halls and through the many events I have made many great friends who have truly made my three years at University unforgettable already.

What is the one thing you wish you knew before coming to university at QMU?

When I came to QMU, I had never visited the University before, let alone Edinburgh! I was quite nervous because I didn’t know what living here would be like and how I’d adjust to living away from home. This came so naturally though and I didn’t struggle at all contrary to what I had thought. So I wish I had known that I don’t need to worry about getting used to being away from home as everyone is so lovely here and there is support all around to help with anything and everything.

What is your favourite thing about being an ambassador for QMU?

My favourite part of being a student ambassador is the many different people I get to meet and the different job opportunities there are. Every time you do a tour you’ll get to engage with different people from all over the world and this extends to all roles that you will do as an ambassador. It is always exciting and every role is a bit different, so you’ll never get bored!
