What has been the highlight of your time at QMU so far?
Since starting at QMU I have loved every minute, but the highlight so far would have to be moving into halls. I did not move into halls until second year as I stayed at home for my first year but this has given me experience of traveling to University on a daily basis and also having the experience of residential life as a student.
I feel halls is a great experience, you get to meet so many people from all over the world, you get the chance to see what living independently is like whilst in a safe and secure environment and as the halls of residence are right next to the university building you can just roll out of bed straight into your lectures!
What is the one thing you wish you knew before coming to university at QMU?
Before coming to university I would have loved to have known more about all the support services available within the university and student’s union.
What is your favorite thing about being an ambassador for QMU?
I love the wide range of people I get to meet through this role ranging from school-aged children to new students, parents and university staff.
I also really enjoy the variety of opportunities the Student Ambassador role allows me to take part in such as university events, children’s university and working within the community.
