Green Travel Plan Management and Review

The key to the successful implementation of the GTP was our GTP Co-Ordinator (GTPC), who with management support and back-up, helped ensure the effective delivery and implementation of the plan. This person was seen by both students and staff as the key point of contact and the driving force of the plan. They were also responsible for the monitoring of the plan’s effectiveness.

To keep the plan on course, it is reviewed at regular intervals, including the use of an annual survey similar to the original staff/student travel questionnaire

The review process will allow the effectiveness of the GTP to be monitored and the changes in transport modal shares to be identified. Measures that do work and those that do not can then be identified and modified.
