The University is a corporate member of the City Car Club, so staff who have to travel off campus on university business are able to use not only the campus based car(s), but also any of the other City Car Club vehicles. This facility is provided so that they do not need to bring their own cars onto campus for this purpose.

Students who are experienced drivers can also make use of the campus vehicles during out of office hours. This is particularly useful for students resident at the University, who are not allowed to bring their own vehicles onto the campus. The City Car Club currently has 1 car parked in the car park. These cars, as well as all the other cars in the City Car Club fleet, will be available to qualifying members of staff to conduct University business.

In order to join as a qualifying member of staff you can either download an Insurance Proposal Form (Pdf) and return it together with a copy of both parts of your driving license to the address below:
