Welcome to the pages of the "Cross-language differences in pitch range" project. The project is a collaboration of the Speech Science Research Centre, Queen Margaret University College and Speech and Language Sciences, Newcastle University.

The project is funded by the ESRC and runs from September 2006 to September 2008. Its main objective is a comparison of pitch range across two different languages, namely English and German.
