Research Update
Research at QMU into Speech and Language Therapy, Clinical Linguistics, Audiology, Linguistics and Phonetics was assessed in 2008 as part of the Linguistics Unit of Assessment (#58).
*** International excellence ***
The results confirm that two thirds of our research outputs have international significance, where 40% are either world-leading or of an excellent quality. The overall profile for the twenty research-active colleagues returned in this unit, based on a selection of four outputs each, is:
