Class Descriptions

Ab Blast - A quick 15 minute intense blast of abdominal work.

Body Conditioning - All over body toning combining aerobic and resistance exercises.

Body Tone - This popular class combines Yoga, Pilates & Tai Chi as an overall great way to tone up whilst also targeting to build strength & improve your flexibility.

Boxercise - Fun, fast, high rep workout that builds muscular endurance as well as
strength. Ideal for all, from beginner to advanced.

Core – 30 minute class focusing on abdominal and back area.

Circuits - A combination of cardiovascular and muscular strength and endurance.
Ideal for all fitness levels.

Pilates – Strengthen and tone muscles all over your body with these easy to follow
and easy to perform low impact, low rep conditioning exercises.

Pump fx - Fun weights based exercise to music workout designed to improve muscular definition, build strength and burn those calories.

Run Club– 'Get trim on the track.' Why not spend your lunch time in the great outdoors with QMU Sports. Take the session at your own pace whether it be a fast walk, jog or run. Ideal for all fitness levels and great for those who wish to get into running.

Spin - Fun and invigorating cycling class that is great for increasing cardiovascular fitness.

Spin Circuits– Combining spin and circuits into one fun workout.

Stretching - A class for all levels which will focus on developing and maintaining
flexibility.

Yoga Practice - A spin off class from Body Tone, focussing on Ashtanga Primary Sequence.

Zumba* – Dance your way to a fitter you with this new Latin dance workout.
*Additional charge applies as this is not included in the sports membership.

All classes are led by qualified and experienced instructors.

Classes can be booked up to 7 days in advance through the sports reception on 0131 474 0000 or by email at sportsreception@qmu.ac.uk

If you have booked a class and can no longer attend, please advise the sports reception as soon as possible so that the place can be re-allocated.

Prices

QM Sports Member: FREE

Non Member: Peak: £4.60 per class, Off peak: £3.30
