We are very pleased to invite you to a public lecture by Professor Bruce Tomblin, University of Iowa, on the evening on Weds 27th May 2009.
Bruce is a internationally renowned researcher in the area of paediatic language impairment and a great speaker, so I hope you will be able to join us. The title of Bruce's talk is Exploring the borders of communication competence: Outcomes from a childhood of poor language skill. The lecture is free, and will take place in the Lecture Theatre at the Royal Hospital for Sick Children, Edinburgh, at 6.30pm for a 7pm start. You don't have to register for this - just turn up!
To make the most of this opportunity to bring researchers and clinicians working in the area of SLI together, on the afternoon on the 27th May, we will be holding a seminar session at QMU showcasing work in intervention and research with children and adolescents with SLI.
