Our QMU campus houses 800 single study en-suite bedrooms in self contained flats for three to six students. Each flat has a kitchen and comfortable living/dining
area.

Each room is equipped with an en-suite shower and toilet,
wired
internet connections (* wireless available from September 2011),
study and storage space.
As part of the plans to encourage environmental sustainability, parking is not available for students staying in on-campus accommodation.
If you have queries about QMU’s parking policy for resident students, please contact Parking There are, however, numerous bus and train links from the campus to Edinburgh
city centre, Glasgow, the Lothians and the Borders.
It is very important that potential students apply as early as possible for a room in our halls as demand is traditionally high. Accommodation in halls is allocated fairly, according to established criteria which includes date of application, year of study, age and geographical distance from the university, and personal preferences, where possible.
QMU is committed to providing a safe and comfortable environment that is easily accessible for students with disabilities. If you have a disability of any kind and are thinking of applying to live in halls, it is essential that the Accommodation Office is made fully aware in plenty of time of anything that may be required to ensure that your room is accessible or equipped as necessary for your stay.
