The Halls of Residence

Living in the halls is the most stress free form of accommodation
for students: there's no splitting up bills amongst flatmates to worry about,
there's heating, electricity, hot water and internet access. Because the accommodation is on the same campus as your classes you can virtually roll into class each
morning.
The halls are leased on a 40 or 50 week basis, including Christmas
and Easter. The cost includes hot water, heating and high speed internet connections via the QMU campus network.
Prices for the halls of residence can be found below. All of the rooms on campus are self catering, however, catering packages are available on request.

Application Process
In order to be given a place in QMU halls you must have firmly accepted an unconditional offer to study a course at QMU.
You can however, apply for a place in the Halls of Residence while you have a conditional offer. If you apply whilst conditional, we will keep your application on file (in date received order) until such time as your offer becomes unconditional and we can offer you a place (assuming availability). You do not need to contact us when you are offered an unconditional place as we will automatically update our records. The current allocation policy takes into account date of halls application, student’s age and distance from QMU. With 800 rooms we would expect to be able to accommodate all students who apply, however we cannot guarantee all students a place.
