Crossroad Games is a Community Interest Company founded by Hannah Gordon while undertaking a BA (Hons) in Film and Media.  The company provides a client-based, visual-novel games development service with tailored illustrations and interactive, dialogue-driven storylines that are highly informative and engaging.  Hannah's aim is to create compelling storylines to motivate players to develop emotional connections and engage with the messages being portrayed.

"Coming to QMU has restored my confidence and self-belief. While rediscovering my skills and creativity, I realised the potential use of gamification in certain areas of business, particularly community engagement. I have always loved creating visual novel video games and I'm now passionate about how it has the potential to help young people in Scotland as well as changing the perception of video games."

Hannah's most recent project is a collaboration with Lead a Bright Future.  Hannah has created a visual novel game for Buddy Bear Friends, Lead a Bright Future's pioneering programme that aims to help children develop friendships, wellbeing and learning powers, so that no child faces bullying.
