A Celebration of Regional Scottish Food
Saturday 24 th April 2010 11am to 3pm at The Club, Jewel and Esk College
This event explores the quality and diversity of Scottish produce.
- free taste of 20 regional Scottish dishes
- local producers market
- demonstrations from chefs including Tom Kitchin
- tutored beverage tasting

Scottish Government Social Enterprise Knowledge Exchange Event
Wednesday 16 th June 2010, 10am to 4pm at Queen Margaret University
This event has been funded by the Scottish Government and aims to:
- build understanding and awareness and to promote and foster greater engagement in social enterprise amongst staff and students in higher and further education,
- celebrate and recognise the social and economic contribution of social enterprises
- provide an opportunity to explore and develop the challenges and opportunities of social enterprise in Scotland
- identify opportunities for the development of teaching and research in this field and make practical recommendations
The event will be an excellent opportunity for peer learning, networking and good practice sharing between government, academia, students and the third sector.
